Team NB 2026

Basketball New Brunswick is pleased to once again offer our U15 & U17 Provincial Teams for the Summer of 2026 who will compete at the 2026 U15 & U17 National Championships in August. We are also thrilled to announce the return of our U16 Provincial teams this summer which will offer increased opportunities for both Player and Coach development.

Provincial teams will begin training at the conclusion of the tryout process and culminate with National Championship tournaments in August. Teams typically practice on weekends with possible weeknight skill sessions and will travel throughout the summer for competitive opportunities vs other provinces or suitable competition.

Team NB 2026 Tryouts

Eligible Athletes:

Males and Females, born from 2009 to 2012. 

U17 Teams: Athletes born in 2009 & 20010
U16 Teams: Athletes born in 20010 & 2011
U15 Teams: Athletes born in 2011 & 20012

Tryout/Selection Procedure:

Only players who have attended a Regional ID session and have been identified to attend the Spring Session Tryouts or were granted compassionate appeals are eligible for consideration to tryout.

Summer Team Fee:

U15 & U17 - $2600

Fee Includes:

The player fee includes an Under Armour team gear package, travel/meals/accommodations/banquet/tournament fee at national championships, accommodations/meals(Halifax and Regina) and flights(Regina), all training (practice) costs including facility rentals, all competition costs including tournament fees and referee costs, and coach expenses
