'Introduction to Officiating' Program

Basketball New Brunswick operates an 'Introduction to Officiating' program, in conjunction with the AABO. This program provides instruction for anyone (young or old) interested in training to become an official.

The BNB registration/insurance year runs from September 1 to August 31.  All Member Groups must re-register annually.

The deadline for member groups to register/submit their membership list is prior to their first games.

Competition Outside of Canada

For teams traveling outside of Canada, Basketball New Brunswick's insurance coverage is limited to emergency accident and liability, and has no coverage for illness. Everyone traveling should have some form of additional travel medical insurance whether by group insurance (typically through a parent/guardian's policy) or by buying short term coverage from a travel agent (ex: CAA). Travel dates and travelling members must be communicated to info@basketball.nb.ca prior to departure.
