BNB to host Jr Jamboree with new 3x3 format for players in Grades 3-5

Basketball New Brunswick continues its mission to ensure grassroots programs are a key part of its development and growth moving forward.

With that in mind, BNB hosts FUN jamborees for players in grade 3, 4 and 5 in two regions during the season. These events are designed for players to register individually.

In the second half of the season, a provincial U10 team based jamboree will once again be hosted for interested/eligible teams.

 The jamborees combine both a skills component followed by all participants being placed on teams and playing 3x3 half-court games with players from their own community and others.  

“This is a great chance for teams, players, coaches and parents to come together for a fun day of basketball,” said BNB Executive Director Carolyn Peppin. “It’s all about having a fun day of instruction and competition with our great Technical Director Neil Smith. There are typically players and coaches from all around the province that come together to learn and compete - it should be a great chance to get better on the court.”
