Call for 2020 Provincial Team Coaches - Deadline December 30th

Basketball New Brunswick are accepting coaching applications for the 2020 Provincial Team season until December 30th. The BNB provincial teams are an integral part of the Basketball New Brunswick high-performance pathway for players and coaches. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing a positive environment focused on the development of individual basketball players and assistant coaches along with maximizing team performance.

Positions Available:

U15 Boys Head Coach (1) & Assistants (2), U15 Girls Head Coach (1) & Assistants (2),

U17 Boys Head Coach (1) & Assistants (2), U17 Girls Head Coach (1) & Assistants (2)

U16 PTP Boys & Girls Head Coach (1 to oversee both programs) & Assistants (4 for boys, 4 for girls)

All positions require participation in the Sr. EDP program (April 5^th, 19^th & 26th). The U15 & U17 teams will conclude after the National Championships August 3^rd - 8^th (girls in Charlottetown, PEI, boys in Kingston, ON) and the U16 PTP Program will conclude after Summerfest July 19^th-21^st. 

The deadline to apply will be Dec 30^th, 2019. Candidates will be invited for interviews to take place from January 3^rd-10^th. Only candidates who are invited to interview will be contacted. BNB have prepared a proposed calendar of competitions and head coaches will be responsible for each team’s training budget that will be shared with candidates who are invited for interviews. All coaches involved must successfully complete and submit a criminal record check to BNB.
