New Brunswick Hosting Jr NBA World Championship Regional Qualifier

Basketball New Brunswick is pleased to be hosting the Jr NBA Global Championship Regional Qualifying event between New Brunswick and Quebec on Saturday, May 9th in Fredericton.

The winners of this event will move on to the National Qualifier at the Toronto PanAm Sports Centre in mid-June, with those Champions moving on to the Jr NBA Global Championships in Florida in August.

This club based event is for registered girls and boys U14 teams. Basketball New Brunswick will use the U14 Division 1 Provincial Championships, taking place March 14-15th, as the provincial qualifying event.

NOTE 1: The Head Coach of the team moving on to the Regional Qualifier versus Quebec is required to have a status of "trained" in NCCP Train to Train. Assistant coaches much be "certified" in NCCP Learn to Train.
NOTE 2: At the Regional Qualifier and Canadian National Qualifying event, teams are permitted to have a maximum of 12 players and 2 coaches. Teams moving on to the Global Championship are only permitted to have 10 players and 2 coaches.
