Registration for the U10 Provincial Jamboree is now open!

This annual event will take place on Saturday, February 29th at the UNB Currie Center in Fredericton. This is a team-based event (different from our fall season Jamborees with individual player registration) for both house and/or competitive level teams looking for a fun day of games.

The registration fee is $60/team (based on 5-6 players, $120/team based on 10-12 players registered) and a guarantee of at least four games. The event will run from 9am-5pm and BNB merchandise will be available for purchase.

Please note: This event is all about participation and fun. As such, scores and win-loss records will not be kept.

Fun... music will be played throughout the event, no score will be kept, no official referees, coaches should be focusing on detecting/correcting skill based deficiencies and not tactical ones to win.

Game Procedures/Rules:

- 3 on 3 in a half court setting - 12 min games
- 5 players per team

- Substitutions will be every 3 minutes on a dead ball situation.

- Ball is only checked in out of bounds or in non shooting foul situation

- On shooting foul players will line up for one free throw from line of 13 feet.

- On MAKES or TURNOVERS the ball must be cleared past the 3 point line by dribble or pass (preferred for more dynamic play) *** defence must allow ball to be cleared before engaging in defensive mode again...only one foot needs to clear the 3 point line.

- Coaches will act as rim monitors to ensure everyone is playing safe and assisting in their development. They will call fouls to keep it clean and protect from over agreesive play.

Games will be played every 15 minutes on (up to) 8 rims so players need to be ready to hop on the court for their 3 minute warm up immediately after the end of the previous game.
