BNB Members - Important Insurance Information

It has been brought to our attention by our insurance provider that our coverage does NOT include the "broadcasting" of basketball training or activities over social media or any other web based platform. For example, posting videos to Twitter or Facebook of drills for your Association/Club members to work on at home would not be covered under our policy. 
 

If you are a registered Minor Association/Club and interested in doing online training with your members, the only way it would be covered is over a face-to-face live platform (i.e., Zoom or a similar program) where the certified coach/trainer would be able to instruct the athletes and see them completing the training directly on the screen. There are several additional criteria that would have to be met in order for this type of training to be sanctioned (all participants must be registered members, it would have to be approved in advance, social distancing requirements would be enforced, etc.). If your Minor Association/Club is interested in using this format for training, please contact us and we'll go through the process of how to properly set this up.
