BNB Announces Phase 5 of Return to Basketball Plan - Effective November 16, 2020

Phase 5 of the Return to Basketball Plan introduces house league and rep team play with modified rules beginning November 16^th. While most minor associations and club teams have not been able to start basketball programming due to the lack of community access to schools, teams that have been active in Phase 4 for at least two weeks will be allowed to play exhibition games within their health zones.

Teams may apply to info@basketball.nb.ca for exceptions based on competitive factors. Introducing games means an increase in the number of close contacts of each team member. Travel to competitions also introduces new risks that teams must have plans to mitigate. Teams hosting games are allowed to have fans and spectators but must include a section on hosting in their operational plans.
