21st Maccabiah Games - Team Canada Looking for Coaches/Staff

Maccabi Canada is seeking coaches, managers and staff to apply to join Team Canada at the 21st Maccabiah Games, scheduled for July 2022 in Israel. Their goal is to recruit elite level coaching and athletic talent to compete in the Games. 
 
The Maccabiah Games, a prominent international sports competition, are held every four years in Israel. It is one of the top three gatherings of athletes in the world, just behind the Summer Olympics and the Asian Games. In 2017, over 10,000 athletes proudly represented 80 countries.
 
As a result of the global pandemic, the 21st Maccabiah Games originally scheduled to be held in July 2021 was postponed to July 2022.  Prior to the pandemic, Maccabi Canada had filled the majority of their staff positions for the coming Games. At the current time we continue to have vacancies for select roles:

• Basketball - Junior Girls U16 - Head Coach 
• Basketball - Junior Girls U16 - Team Manager
• Basketball - Open Women - Head Coach 
• Basketball - Open Women - Team Manager

Maccabi Canada is looking to spread the word and reach out to the members of the basketball community to submit applications for the roles listed above. While all athletes (junior, open and masters) must be Jewish to participate, for coaches, managers and staff there is No requirement to adhere to the Jewish faith.
