BNB Pleased to be Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund Recipient

Basketball New Brunswick is pleased to be a recipient of a Canadian Tire Jumpstart Relief Fund Grant.

Along with Jumpstart, we understand the role sport plays in the health and well-being of kids and their families and are doing everything possible to help community sports continue.
Last year, with the support of CTC, Jumpstart Charities disbursed $8 million through its Sport Relief Fund, helping nearly 700 organizations continue to operate through 2020.

With Canadian Tire Corporation’s commitment of an additional $12 million to Jumpstart’s Sport Relief Fund in 2021, together, we’ll help build back communities through sport and play.

As one of nearly 300 sport and recreation organizations across Canada to receive grant funding from Jumpstart’s Sport Relief Fund this year, the continued need for support is apparent.

With Jumpstart’s support, we’ll be able to continue to operate our spring/summer programming within the recommended guidelines of Public Health to make sure all our participants are safe while returning to the court. 

BNB is grateful for the support we have received through the Jumpstart grant prorgam, as well as other funding opportunities that have been available to us during this challening time. We appreciate the time, energy and patience of our member groups and look forward to being back on the court as safely as possible.
