Basketball New Brunswick will be observing the September 30th National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to commemorate the history and trauma caused by residential schools and to honour the survivors, families, and communities who continue to grieve for those who were lost.
This day will afford the opportunity for all Basketball New Brunswick employees to recognize and reflect on the history and ongoing legacy of residential schools and consider what we each can do to help advance reconciliation with the Indigenous Community. Basketball New Brunswick would ask that all of our members province wide, take a moment on September 30th to reflect and educate on the importance of this day.
