Upcoming UNB Women in Sport Conference

The Women in Sport team at UNB was founded with the intention of creating a larger impact together than they can individually. Their platform sets out to educate students and the people of New Brunswick about the disparities that exist in women’s sports and to empower women within and through sport to be leaders. They exist to champion equity, inclusivity and progress within sport and society. They aim to amplify the voices and actions of BIPOC women and athletes as they are often silenced and marginalized in comparison to their White female and male counterparts. Their conversations about women in sport are inclusive to all genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religions and abilities. 

This year their FREE conference will be hosted virtually on Zoom on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, with a virtual workshop hosted by Coach NB on Sunday, April 3rd.
