Canada Basketbal Verification Program

Introducing the Canada Basketball Verification Program! If you run or are a part of a minor association or basketball club/organization across NB, we are recommending you become verified! The Verification Program was developed in partnership with Basketball New Brunswick and aligns with current membership requirements while raising the standard for the delivery of basketball across the province. 
 
By focusing on three main pillars: Safe Sport and EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion), technical skills, governance and administration, Canada Basketball is ensuring safe sport participation for all. The Verification Program integrates important aspects of coaching, Safe Sport, and organizational leadership. Becoming Verified encourages basketball providers to add accountability to their mandates providing a welcoming, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for all players and members.
