The NBML tipped off its inaugural season with a thrilling night of basketball in Saint John, as fans were treated to three competitive matchups at the G. Elliot Forbes Athletics Centre.

GAME 1: RoadRunners 94, River Bandits 89 (Full Video - Game Highlights - Boxscore)
The RoadRunners came out firing, jumping to an early double-digit lead in the first quarter. The River Bandits battled back in the second and kept things close the rest of the way, but a late push by the RoadRunners sealed the win in a tight 94-89 finish.

After a tightly contested opening frame, the HighToppers pulled away with a 10-point halftime lead thanks to efficient shooting and strong ball movement. They extended their advantage in the second half, cruising to a convincing 108-90 victory.

The Flying Dutchman started strong, building a commanding 15-point halftime lead. But the Lumberjacks roared back with a dominant 33-15 third quarter to take the lead heading into the final frame. The fourth quarter featured back-and-forth action, but the Dutchman regained control late to secure a 96-90 win.
