Cost should never stop you or your child from participating in sport. Check out the many funding opportunities across the province to assist in paying registration/membership and equipment fees. Individual/Family Funding Assistance Programs: Canadian Tire Jumpstart:
Available for children aged 4-18
Available in back-to-back seasons
Funding is available for up to $300 per activity
Cheques are made straight out to the service organization
Available for children under 18
Funding is sent directly to the sports organization your child is enrolled in
Provides grants of up to $400 per eligible child
Referral program for equipment
Provides funding for both sport and recreation activities
Coverage for registration fees, equipment fees, and transportation fees
Community Sport Funding: Community sport funding opportunities are made for non-profit organizations, local community sport and recreation organizations and municipalities. Leadership Development:
Financial contributions that are available to organizations hosting educational sessions or sending sports and recreation leaders to such events
Ex: sending coaches to NCCP training courses and officials clinics
Supports activities that develop individual and organizational skills across operational areas
