Team NB 2025

Basketball New Brunswick is pleased to once again offer our U15 & U17 Provincial Teams for the Summer of 2025 who will compete at the 2025 U15 National Championships & U17 Canada Summer Games in August. We are also thrilled to announce the return of our U16 Provincial teams this summer which will offer increased opportunities for both Player and Coach development.

Provincial teams will begin training at the conclusion of the tryout process and culminate with National Championship tournaments in August. Teams typically practice on weekends with possible weeknight skill sessions and will travel throughout the summer for competitive opportunities vs other provinces or suitable competition.

2025 BNB Provincial Team Rosters

June 20-22	Possible Training or Competition MWBA Legacy Cup in Fredericton (Female Teams) Brookwood Elite Tournament in Montreal (U15/16 Boys)
June 27-29	Possible Training or Competition Slam Challenge in Montreal (All Female Teams)
July 4-6	Possible Training or Competition BNS Showcase in Halifax
July 12-13	Training Weekend - All Teams
July 18-20	Summerfest in Fredericton (All Teams) end of U16 Season
July 25-27	Possible Training or Competition U15 and U17 only
Aug 2-3	Training weekend (U17 Teams only)

Teams will be training together throughout the summer from the beginning of the Team training window up until their final competition

To be considered for BNB Provincial Teams, athletes are required to attend a Regional ID Session and participate in the High Performance Spring League (or follow the compassionate appeals process).

Team NB 2025 Tryouts
Eligible Athletes:	Males and Females, born from 2008 to 2011. U17 Teams: Athletes born in 2008 & 2009 U16 Teams: Athletes born in 2009 & 2010 U15 Teams: Athletes born in 2010 & 20011
Tryout/Selection Procedure:	Only players who have registered and participated in the 2025 High Performance Spring League or were granted compassionate appeals are eligible for consideration to tryout. Athlete Selection Criteria - Click Here
Tryout Dates & Times:	Athletes are to attend all sessions for their respective Age group / Team U17 Girls (2008s & 2009s): May 31st - June 1st @ École Mathieu-Martin May 31st - 11:30am-1pm & 2:30-4pm June 1st - 12:30-2pm Team will be announced the following week. U17 Boys (2008s & 2009s): May 31st - June 1st @ TH Sports May 31st - 10-11:30am & 1-2:30pm June 1st - 10am-12pm Team will be announced the following week. Tryout Cost:	There will be no cost to attend the tryout
Summer Team Fee:	U15 & U17 - $2200 U16 - $1100 Fee Includes: Under Armour Gear Package, team training sessions, registration in 3 major competitions(Atlantic Event, Montreal Event, BNB Summerfest), accommodations included for Atlantic Canada and Montreal Events, and all costs associated with participating in the 2024 Canadian National Championships for U15 and U17 teams(registration, travel, accommodations, and meals).
