BNB's Targeted Athlete Program (TAP)

Jun. 26, 2025

We’re excited to introduce the Targeted Athlete Program (TAP) - a performance initiative from Basketball New Brunswick designed to support and develop some of the province’s most dedicated and promising athletes.

What is TAP?

This program offers a unique opportunity to train and grow in a focused, supportive environment that aims to maximize your potential as an athlete. TAP will be an invitation-only program, open to a select group of high school-aged athletes. While the exact number may vary, we anticipate inviting 8-12 athletes per gender to ensure a high-quality, individualized development experience.

Selections for the TAP program will take place each August, with the program operating on a yearly cycle from September through May. A new invitation process will occur at the end of each summer.
